1. Material selection
Honeycomb activated carbon is the same as the previous coal crushed carbon and columnar activated carbon. It is mainly anthracite and lignite and belongs to coal formed products. The difference is that the micropore utilization rate of honeycomb activated carbon can reach 99%, and the cost performance is much higher than that of columnar activated carbon and coal crushed carbon.
2. Processing aspect
After the raw materials are added with the mixed materials, the formed columnar activated carbon and coal broken carbon are obtained by low-temperature pre compounding, medium temperature fermentation, speed extrusion molding, drying and high-temperature activation. In contrast, the processing steps of honeycomb activated carbon are much more cumbersome. In addition to adding auxiliary materials such as adhesives, adsorption additives and modifiers into the raw materials, the extrusion process is also quite exquisite. The overall process is more complex than columnar activated carbon and coal broken carbon.
3. Structural aspects
Columnar activated carbon has no unique shape and structure, and its use tends to be random. It forms the purpose of adsorption through simple accumulation. It is determined that the filtration speed is slow, the filtration is uneven, and the best effect cannot be played.
