Internal structure of activated carbon filter

Sep 16, 2021

1. The upper part of the activated carbon filter is provided with a water inlet device and the lower part is provided with a drainage device. During operation, water enters through the upper part, flows through the activated carbon filter layer and flows out from the bottom.

2. There are a large number of hydroxyl and other functional groups on the surface of activated carbon, which can chemically adsorb substances of various properties, remove peculiar smell, organic matter, colloid, iron and residual chlorine in the water, reduce the turbidity and chromaticity of the water, make the water clear and transparent, and reduce the pollution to subsequent systems (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and ion exchanger).
