Effect of columnar activated carbon on water

Columnar activated carbon has a good adsorption effect on volatile organic compounds in water, and the removal rate of various volatile organic compounds in water can reach 25% ~ 65%. Comparing the adsorption laws of various organic compounds with different molecular weights, it can be seen that for volatile organic compounds, the greater the molecular weight, the higher their removal rate. This is similar to the adsorption law of phenol and cationic light yellow, that is, for small molecular organics in water, the greater the molecular weight, the easier it is to be adsorbed by activated carbon.
