5A Molecular sieve is a calcium type A aluminosilicate，which can adsorb molecule with a critical diameter less than 5A.The molecules can be adsorbed on the 3A or 4A molecular sieve, also can be adsorbed on the 5A type.The n-alkanes can be separated from branched-chain and annular hydrocarbons by selective adsorption. At present, it is used in large scale normal isomeric alkane separation process in industry.5A molecular sieve can also be used for PSA hydrogen production.

Application
1. Separation of n-isomeric alkanes in petrochemical industry.
2. Purification of Hydrogen, Oxygen by PSA process.
3. The drying and purification of petroleum, natural gas, and other industrial gases, to remove impurities such as water, CO2, and sulfur from the air stream.
